Did you watch?? I actually did this time, and it wasn`t too bad - there were quite a few songs I liked which wasn`t always the case. Do you agree with the outcome??? Actually the Norwegian song was not one of my personal favorites. It wasn`t the worst song, but well......the singer seemed to have the cuteness bonus - hehe. The margin of points beween this and the other songs was huge!!! I really liked the songs from Island and Azerbaidschan though, so it was fine to see them place. I even also liked our German song and wish they would have gotten some more points. The appearance during their song might not have been the most convenient one eventually. Though I also really liked the Finnish song. But regarding their placing I asked myself if something was wrong with my personal music taste lol. So let us know your impressions from this event!!

German song and French one are good. But I am not sure the French style song was adequated to compete at the Eurovision. Look after all the best rated songs of the latest years and you notice a bit of creativity is requested but also some part of respect of something we can name 'Eurovision style of music'.
Norway won with the perfect mix of these facts: creativity compared to the yearly rivals: dance choreographies, violin sound, but also a musical theme easy to get in mind (often a part of the winning way secret!). I dont' really consider the Finnish success some years ago as representative.

Sorry had to read this, unfortunately the whole concept of this song contest died years ago. All you have is neighbours voting for each other and the better songs doing badly. Block voting by many Eastern countries kill it off year after year.
I just wish the BBC would stop paying into the European Broadcasting Commission, just so we don't have to compete. The top four contributors score badly every year (Except the UK, this year). The top four are UK, France, Spain and Germany, hence they can't be relegated.
Will some one please tell me why Isreal are in it?
